#writerscoffeeclub Jan 25. What comes first: setting, character, plot? What comes next? Sometimes a title arrives in my mind and it demands I write a story that goes with it. But usually I have a couple of each category (plot, setting, characters) floating around in my imagination and I play about with seeing how they fit together... until the Idea strikes and I have something.
