Ad-blockers for the internet are awesome and, sadly, very much needed.
But I'd also love ad-blockers for everything else!
Like, advertising posters in cities, and especially ad screens in and on stores!
Hell, even teletext/videotext (you know, that old-fashioned thing on linear TV) has been full of ads, mostly dating and sex stuff even on the front pages.
I mean, there are ad-blockers for RL ads...but spraying on ALL ad posters is hard to do without being noticed! 😁😅

@BryanGreyson@social.tchncs.de I'm almost wishing there was something like SponsorBlock (something that auto skips ahead in-video youtube ads/annoyances) for podcasts but the podcasts with the most ads are ones from a network that's entirely creator-owned
