@thegibson ever searched your desk for a forgotten fizzy drink to see the most expensive power supply you've got releasing its magic smoke, and in utter disbelief continue the search until you realize that the magic smoke will turn to flames at some stage unless you act *right now*? Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. In aviation it's called the startle response, and despite being trained to not kill myself and my passengers, I am fully aware it applies to me as well.
