>be me >morning of the third day of Tha Con™️ >i'm meandering around the grounds in my fuckass 40K Commissar cosplay >Spot another guy in costume >He's cosplaying as Luigi as he appears in the motherfucking card minigames in SM64 DS and NSMB (picrel) >HE EVEN HAS A LITTLE CARDBOARD DEALING TABLE HANGING ON HIM WITH SHOULDER STRAPS >I approach to compliment his cool cosplay >He's asking if I want to play picture poker >I accept and we play a round >He deals me the cards, I get a three of a kind, then swap the other two cards and get lucky enough to upgrade it to a Full House >My full house wins against his two pairs >he gives me a mini bag of Haribo gummy bears as a prize >I thank him and we part ways Hands down BEST interaction I've had during the entire event, I can't believe this even happened
