@emmadavidson The work done by Federal, State and Territory governments (politicians and public servants) was monumental! All of you do not receive enough credit for (not a complete list) 1. Distributing masks and hand sanitizers 2. Upgrading hospitals 3. Contact tracing 4. Wrangling the ancient dinosaur of the Centrelink 1970’s payment system to provide Jodseeker and Jobkeeper payments to tens of millions in only months. 5. The constant information about the disease and the progress fighting it 6. Securing and distributing the vaccine to 25 million people, 3 times. 7. Returning the country back to normal. A monumental effort.
