@project1enigma @GrapheneOS @sparrowsion just as a data point: I migrated from iOS to GrapheneOS on Pixel 7a last year and I all my banking and insurance apps are working. There only one insurance app that doesnt allow unlocking via biometrics on GrapheneOS. So I don't see a big risk in at least trying. A used Pixel 7a or 8a doesn't cost a lot either.

@britter @project1enigma @GrapheneOS @sparrowsion I would strongly recommend the Pixel 8a over the 7a, since it has a total update time of 7 years, whereas the 7a only got 5 years. It also features hardware security improvements, mainly a CPU that includes the ARM memory tagging extension.
