Here's a gender equity marker: who is at toddler time at the library? Today there were 18 mums, 5 grandmas, and me. You see dads in the playground on Fridays and lots on Saturday and Sunday. But we'll know we've hit equality when half the grownups sitting on the floor singing along to a librarian doing wheels on the bus on a rainy Tuesday are men.
