@VATVSLPR @keirFox Somewhat related: I feel like the root of my popularity on IRC in the late 90s and early 2000s was being significantly creative. But then YouTube came along and my popularity as a person faded, since nobody can compete with all of YouTube and few people seemed to find me interesting outside of that.
