Serious question: what happens to Orion when Betelgeuse explodes?

That’s actually a solid question. It’s his shoulder, so he wouldn’t be as effective of a hunter anymore, especially while holding that lion back. Also would make it difficult to use Orion to find other stars (Betelgeuse is Alpha Orion, top-left star in this image):
