the contract faculty union at NYU, of which I am a member, reached a tentative agreement with the university earlier this week (after a two-day strike). i have to say i'm pretty happy with the outcome of the agreement https://nyucontractfacultyunion.org/cfu-uaw-tentative-agreement-highlights/ in conclusion, do a union, you'll be glad you did
