My server ran out of memory because the web statistics script cannot keep up with parsing the logs with so many scrapper bots visiting me. At this point, 65% of the requests are being rejected and the IP blocked (which means I still reach 65% with requests comming from different IP addresses). And I'm likely very far from detecting and rejecting all the bots.

Using IPv6 addressing? At least with IPv4 there are fewer addresses to block.
