@stefan@stefanbohacek.online Hey, I'm fascinated by @roots@stefanbohacek.online, thanks for sharing! I never knew so many different root patterns existed. A question, though, if you know: how do you draw them? How does someone know how they evolve underground?

@borisschapira@framapiaf.org Thank you, really glad you're enjoying it! I have to give an obligatory shout-out to @liaizon@social.wake.st who saw the potential, I merely brought their vision to life. But yeah, from https://images.wur.nl/digital/collection/coll13/ "Sometimes the researchers spent their holidays making excavations and drawings." So I guess they just carefully dig out the roots, and then draw whet they'd look like in the ground, from that perspective. I really give them props for the patience this must've taken.
