The funniest part of The Onion taking over InfoWars is Alex Jones pathetically panicking for no reason. He is the brand, for the same reason Turning Point USA is falling apart after Charlie Kirk’s karma: fascists only follow personality cults. Jones could continue grifting anywhere. “Find me at Truth Bombs dot Chili and subscribe with gold so the feds can’t send it to my victims.” But no, he is flailing because his conspiracy factory of a brain cannot comprehend cause and effect. A single unsold pallet of “InfoWars®: dead kids are crisis actors” ball caps is his apocalypse.
