@fdroidorg About #keepandroidopen (hoping for a reply from F-Droid)...
My tech-illiterate neighbor somehow ended up with a virus on her Android phone, that every minute would pop up on her screen with a scary noise. It was an installed app with the name and icon of YouTube. It was easy enough for me to remove, but for her it would be impossible.
As a FOSS advocate and fan of #FDroid, I want to keep Android open. But I think that 24h barrier could actually stop malware. I'm torn.
