Idle speculation this morning: can't help feeling that recent reports of Trump regret by MAGA folks and AI regret by orgs that went all-in are ultimately the exact same phenomenon, for the same reason, by the same people, but I lack the background in social sciences to articulate it properly.

I think we're overall a little further along the Trump regret path... there we are at the "I told you so" part but AI is still at "I'm telling you so" but there are still striking similarities.
