Interesting though from Dr Tara Behrend from School of Human Resources and Labor Relations at Michigan State University. Automating easy tasks makes the work harder. If you automate all the easy parts of work then all that remains is the hard parts. And that can lead to burn out and reduce efficiency as people need to rest between tasks.
