it's not just policy. it's that a lot of D voters think AIPAC and Israel want to defeat Democrats and help MAGA, so taking support from AIPAC feels like a betrayal.
that is devastating in a D primary.

and like, this is not some sort of crazy interpretation. again, JB Pritzker—not a radical figure!—says AIPAC is working for MAGA. Netanyahu collaborated with Trump in a war that is unbelievably unpopular with Democrats.
