@simoncozens good discussion, thanks for the sharing the link. I wouldn't say though that recognizing issues and asking for solutions is "utterly misguided". What else can or should Greek designers do about their language being maimed in digital environments? What can we do to help them? I think raising awareness is a good first step.

@belluzj I agree there's a problem. But: petitioning Unicode to fix something that (as the TypeDrawers thread explains) largely isn't Unicode's fault is a bad start. Using a public petition on some random web site instead of actually engaging with the relevant people is a bad follow up.
