@NNN Interesting article. It’s definitely an issue.
I’m 74. Sadly, my wife has early-onset Alzheimer’s so had to give up her driver’s license. We live in a postwar suburb. Some facilities (healthcare & grocery shopping) are a little closer to us. I definitely wonder what happens if at some point I can’t drive.
One thing that works for us is we acquired a cargo eBike. She rides on the back while I pedal. We can get to many of our appts and shopping trips on the bike. Luckily there’s a bike path
