@SecondUniverse I spent a lot of time on r/childfree before I got a vasectomy. I heard all these stories about women getting denied getting tubes tied and thought it would also apply to vasectomies for some reason. I got asked "you sure?" one single time by the urologist and that was it. I was 19 btw
