@Catfish_Man I remember when NIMBYs were arguing that the new buildings at UCSF Parnassus — including dorms for students — would CAUSE CANCER! And chewing on using CEQA as a threat. It’s like — my brother in Christ — wouldn’t be nice if there were SOMEPLACE to go if you ever get sick with — I dunno — FUCKING CANCER? And that when you got there SOMEONE was trained in the treatment? NIMBY brain is a void so deep it could consume a black hole.
