PSA: As it's getting warmer in the northern hemisphere, a reminder (especially to those who live places where AC isn't standard and where heatwaves are also becoming frequent); the gel cooling pads for dogs to lie on are also good for humans, and they're cheap and pack down small when not needed. They take no electricity. Smaller ones for sitting on, and there's large ones, I have one I put under the fitted sheet on my bed (its 140x70cm).
