I'm experiencing the weirdest feeling. Our 11-year-old is socially awkward, and doesn't go to the neighbourhood school, therefore doesn't really know any kids in the hood. One of his schoolmates moved into the hood this year, and is also awkward. Spring is finally (!!) here, and the friend came calling, and for the first time, 11 actually had a friend over AND willingly went outside to play! Roaming the hood like kids are supposed to! ❤️ I feel like a normal #parent and it's amazing! #parenting
