Describing what is an absolute betrayal of the principles of a nation from the people who decide what laws get to be enacted as "a possible lifeline", is completely fucked. Hard to understate just how much of a partisan, racist assault on the concept of elections this is, while completely ignoring the context of this ruling. This is up there with the whole "The US president is immune to the concept of law" ruling as far as malpractice goes
