    @RoninGrey@merovingian.club yeah this is absolute bullshit. AI needs objective data to be trained on. This shit is just using ai trained on what humans THINK the dog is saying. It’s completely subjective.

    @RoninGrey@merovingian.club The notion of animal translation is ridiculous. The whole point of language is to get the information across between spieces with highly developed brain. The more basic the brains - the more basic the info. Like ants talking through the liquid they produce (sweet means "Food" and sour means "Danger" - that's their entire vocabulary). Most animals don't require million words: they easily get their point across with gazes, simple sounds and gestures, since their thoughts are simple.
