@dan @schmudde @jessitron Well we can be slightly comforted by the fact that the design of brakes has a lot to do with the laws of physics. Versus manufacturers that make things hard to service so it’s easier just to buy a new unit.

@schmudde @jessitron true, though if you wanted to add artificial obsolescence into brakes you'd just need to change the pad shape or piston size or seal design or something every couple of years.
