@Fklv2 @nholzschuch I never understood this point of view. We had oral examinations and written (non-computer) tests all the time when I was in high school. The number of children has not increased enough* to make it magically impossible to do them. If it was possible in the 90s/early 00s, then there is no reason it shouldn't be possible today if not by choice.
* According to the following page, for example, there is about the same amount of kids in the 12-17 age bracket in 2026 compared to 2000 when I was in that age bracket: https://www.childstats.gov/americaschildren/tables/pop1.asp In my country the situation is similar.

@antopatriarca @nholzschuch I never said it was impossible. To save money in the last twenty years a lot of automated testing has been pushed , as well as group projects, homework , etc . Students manage to cheat using AI during written exams, we have an epidemic of infractions in my university at the moment.
