@wtay @lu_leipzig @downey If we're going to use the software that's a monolith to scraping and taking from other people, then your project is built on, powered by, and supported through, scraping and taking from other people. Can we talk about that? Has the Pipewire project settled on a number of how much of that is fine? Maybe only 1,000 repos and projects thrown into, without permission or respect for their licenses, the stochastic parrot tumbler is an acceptable amount for generating Pipewire code? 10,000? Does it matter specifically what the licenses on other people's works was? Maybe 100,000 of other people's works are fine, but the 100,001st would start raising eyebrows that something isn't looking right?
