@sequentialsnep I've got different ones for different applications most modern games seem to have settled on xbox style as standard I've got a ps2 style controller for games that allow me to use the d-pad mainly and don't force me to use the analog stick I've also got a Saturn style controller in my laptop bag (because there's no analog sticks to mess up or break) and it's a crapshoot whether any random game will let me use it. you might be surprised how many non-ancient games (even 2d platformers) require an analog stick and have no ability to configue/change buttons
