@sequentialsnep started w/ xbox series, but then that broke in a years time so i started a long search for something that is just as comfortable and nice to use but will last longer tried a bunch of 8bitdo stuff, couldnt get on with any of it personally due to being very picky about buttons and dpads particularly because my hands ache easily. tried the hori steam pad which is....alright? but the dpad again is a bit too stiff. currently i have two gamesir controllers, the "tegenaria" t3-lite (which is playstation styled) - it is very much peak Acceptable but in a good way. couple of the buttons they clearly cheapened out on which sucks but i cant complain much for the price of it. the other one is a t4 cyclone pro (xbox styled) which is somewhat better but is weirdly small imo. i would suggest trying 8bitdo's ultimate 2 controller first before anything else, though. everyone loves it generally speaking and 99% of people dont have the same issues with their stuff that i do, so it's very likely you'll find happiness with them. if not, by all means check out gamesir's stuff, but keep in mind their dpads are WILDLY different depending on the model you get.
