I'm currently looking through some terms and conditions and one of them contains "illegal or fraudulent Content (such as the distribution, publication, storage or transmission of content of sexually explicit material, […])", which like what the f‽ How is that illegal or fraudulent?

@zvavybir Some friends recommended Hetzner (https://www.hetzner.com/) but I don't know anything about it or about hosting providers in general, except that this one is in Europe..

@zvavybir What about Contabo? I've been using their service for a while now. Though I'm not sure about the terms. Another good provider is Privex.io

@zvavybir I've been using flokiNET in Iceland (and a few other European locations) for a while. They're big on privacy and reasonable on their hosting conditions. For not allowed "harmful content" they list: Hosting or sharing child pornography Selling pharmaceuticals without a license Sharing or distributing materials related to terrorism Doxxing: revealing or sharing personal and private information without consent

@zvavybir I use masto.host to pseudo-self-host. Costs me a few pounds a month, someone else does the upgrades etc, but it’s mine with my own domain name.
