Oh no, I'm sorry about that.
It looks like the default emoji pack on Mastodon has english descriptions even if it's set to another language?
This is not a good situation, it ought to translate emoji names as well.

The "shortcode" is given once as part of the definition of the custom emoji. I consider this a technical name, as it is used to translate to a graphic representation. https://docs.joinmastodon.org/entities/CustomEmoji/
