@madalex Oh gosh, that's like 100X worse! It seems like it's the owner functioning against common sense. Let alone the fact that you don't teach pets by punishing them because they have no idea why you are doing the thing, and for cats specifically it severs the bond and the trust they feel with the owner. But even *if* it worked, how can anyone leave a pet at risk of falling to their death to teach it a lesson. Some folks should just stick to adopting Tamagotchis.
