@sense @iamkonstantin One major caveat to take in mind that I forgot to mention: flathub.org - the primary source for Flatpak apps - is very much oriented towards GUI apps. Since you mention a server use case, you're probably thinking about CLI apps, which aren't really the focus of Flathub. The best alternative I have to install up-to-date CLI apps are Python's Pypi and Rust's `cargo install`, which compiles and installs apps hosted on crates.io. Those are mostly language-specific.
