@maddiefuzz Yes it is https://security-tracker.debian.org/tracker/CVE-2026-31431 but that's ok, vulnerabilities happen :). The toot was more about the calm and demure aspect of admin-ing a Debian and using it for development. I've found it tends to pay off to learn a distro and stick with it 🤓. Debian as a desktop/dev environment is also a fantastic option

@maddiefuzz @iamkonstantin Debian was definitely vulnerable to copy.fail when I saw the announcement yesterday. Debian Testing & Unstable had fixed kernels yesterday, and the patched version for Trixie just came out today. https://timeloop.cafe/@alienghic/116495525642399082
