@baillehache_pascal yeah, I know it's a long shot. However, we tend to look to the set as just a bounded condition of an arbitrary sequence. But this sequence, once you paint it on top of the complex plane behaves as a very geometrical thing (like a spiral growing inwards or outwards). I can imagine some kind of cyclic biological process that either exhausts or explodes depending on where in the leaf it occurs.
