most people, liberal or conservative, don't look at evidence. they just think what they are told to think by their 'leaders'. and yeah, as a 'liberal' i am pro many things that liberals HATE and they basically won't talk to you about it, they will just totally dismiss you as a person because if you DISAGREE YOU ARE A BAD PERSON. it's not about policy, it's about BEING PART OF THE TRIBE OF GOOD. and they will tow the party line no matter how absurd it becomes, because they HAVE TO BE PART OF THE TRIBE.
