I think I'm ready to come out to my brother and my IRL cis friends as non-binary, but ONLY if it comes up. That unfortunately still means boymoding, AT MOST wearing clear nail polish when I'm among them. But it wouldn't be a "hey guys, I'm non binary" type coming out, but a "if it comes up" situation then I can correct them.
To me the key thing is it has to come off as "no big deal". If I was cagey or nervous about it, I think I would lose respect among my cis guy friends... thanks Toxic Masculinity. 🤷
I'm still terrified of talking about it with my parents or my inlaws. That said I only really care about explaining myself to my Mom. The rest of them I can feign confidence about it being no big deal. 😳🏳️⚧️

I don't think anyone who knows me has ever really considered me "normal", but because I don't "rock the boat" I don't think they consider me "abnormal" either. Just a "normal weirdo". As I continue transitioning that opinion will change, but in hindsight I don't think being completely invisible benefits any of my social groups (friends or family). Philosophy Tube's radical "oh BTW I'm a hot girl now" is a lot to take in. But being unafraid to express "nah, I think masculine tropes are stupid" in cis groups could be good for them. 🤷
