@strigga_ @mcjk @gael For some reason Internet companies don't think the laws applied to advertising, consumer protection, safety, etc that are enforced in local shops, TV, Radio, papers etc apply to them. See also AirBnB, Uber, etc. Also big USA corps seem to think they are only under USA laws and only in the USA. Governments need to ignore the US Gov. or size of company, or if it's using the Internet/app and enforce existing laws! Ireland is particularly rubbish on all forms of enforcement!

    @strigga_ @mcjk @gael Amazon Retail is merely catalogue ordering like existed since 18th C. Postal > Telegraph > Phone > email > Web > App. Cloud services is merely selling remote computer timer (existed in 1960s). Uber / AirBnB: App instead of phone & monetise personal info. Ebay: Classifieds & Commercial of 19th C newspapers till 1990s.
