@frang @danyork I agree with the sentiment BUT do consider that tech like this is utterly *transformative* for those with visual impairments. Was speaking with a guy the other day with a form of macular degeneration and it had given him so much. Not that that’s why they exist, but let’s not be ignorant of the minority for which these can be incredible. Now if only we could get the tech from places that aren’t abusive of the data collected..
