my wonderful gf doesn't understand why i am dating her since i am not dating to abuse her. As she just concluded since i did not abuse her in the last 2 years i likely won't abuse her in the future. My attempts to explain why and what i love her for have resulted in memorization but not insight and understanding. Does anyone have ideas how i can help her accept that she being abused is abnormal even if it occurred often in her past?
