@brettcannon Nice! James Tripp and I proposed a Google Summer of Code project to do a similar thing for R: https://github.com/rstats-gsoc/gsoc2023/wiki/Containerized-Development-Environments-for-R. The deadline for coders was yesterday, so fingers crossed! Assuming it goes ahead (or we work on it anyway) we’ll take a look at your Codespace to see if there’s anything we can learn!
