@PermaSolarPotter @deirdrebeth I had years of vines but no flowers, or flowers but no fruit. Hand pollinating helped (I hadn't seen the thing about doing it multiple times, though), but what worked best for me was multiples of the same sort of squash. I now get sufficient zucchini (from 2-3 plants, for one person - not the overwhelming bounty it's supposed to be), and I've gotten at least one pumpkin (mostly Sugar Pie) each of the last four years. Four, on two vines, was the most I ever got. Not a lot, but enough for a couple pies.
