ya true enough. If you don't mind letting the parts sit with a dab of grease on each side of where the parts connect it might work in say a week. Buuuut...also...if you removed the nut the holds the pedal onto the shaft/axle (to get more space) then take visegrips and grip REALLY tight onto the space where you would put the wrench, then start striking the visegrips with a rubber mallet...maybe...lol...and yup I have done this...
