Israel is celebrating its independence today. Traditionally, the ceremony was a uniting piece, avoiding party politics, with a main speech by the chairperson of parliament. #Netanyahu changed that, he couldn't miss such an opportunity to speak to the public. Today, as he walked with other dignitaries to his seat, he was met with "Bibi, Bibi" calls. The once-civil ceremony has been taken over by fascists. I believe Israel will wake up from this and rise. But it won't be easy.
