Might be hard to chase up the debts of a country that's ceased to exist 🤷♂️
The parallel I'm drawing, in case it wasn't obvious, is with the neo-colonial extraction of wealth from the Global South, which the reputation launderers of the Global North pimped as debt reclamation. Leading to the Drop the Debt movement; Debt Jubilee, Live 8, etc.

@strypey The fact that many countries have been selling their US treasury bonds for over the last decade is a clear sign that the global reliability of the USD is now very tenuous. @jackyan @TreeStarMan
