You *can* remove ethanol from gasoline by adding water until the water bonds to the ethanol and the two of them separate out from the gasoline.... BUT, ethanol is an octane booster, so what you're gonna end up with is gonna probably be like 70 octane gas... So the engines you put it in might knock...

  • @cjd@pkteerium.xyz @Scubbie@merovingian.club @Robert_Edwardly@poa.st Let's say you do remove the ethanol with water but now you have water in your fuel I would assume the extra water in the fuel will make the fuel worse for the immediate engine performance and might damage the engine with long term use But I am not sure that you can remove alcohol by adding water If you mix one cup of rubbing alcohol with one cup of water then you will get less than two cups of a new liquid
