@catvalente It looks like the technique used to make this bowl is called "plique-à-jour" -- like cloisonné, but without a solid backing. Here's a very similar item (down to the design style and wooden stand): https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=https%3A%2F%2Fi.ebayimg.com%2Fimages%2Fg%2FblgAAOSwd7Zj9iv2%2Fs-l1200.webp&tbnid=b5F3FsJ86X0yhM&vet=12ahUKEwja2vW-jZmAAxWAUkEAHeK7AxUQxiAoA3oECAAQIQ..i&imgrefurl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2F234908261594&docid=Z9SbPCYbxkYdtM&w=1200&h=902&itg=1&q=Plique-%C3%A0-jour%20Bowl&ved=2ahUKEwja2vW-jZmAAxWAUkEAHeK7AxUQxiAoA3oECAAQIQ
As far as I can figure out, these are purely decorative objects -- so the cups are probably unrelated.
