Something once thought to be so special to the worth of humans that it could inspire true awe is now exposed as largely approximately by a mathematical function. And one simple enough in concept that there can be no magical intellect lucking in the cervices. Ok, it's not as good as a really practiced human artist - but it's close enough for commercial work. If simple dumb slop-factory can produce an output that is hard to distinguish from that of a human, is the human really more intelligent?
