I’ve just heard something on ITN news that hit me like a ton of bricks! As a child we were poor, I was so ‘special’ that I wouldn’t eat toast outside the house. A Geordie woman has just declared on national TV that she was SO POOR that she couldn’t afford to make toast! WTF HAVE WE BECOME? 💔😢
